Tender Description
Town Municipal Corporation Ibrahim Hyderi, District Malir, Karachi, invites eligible contractors for the work titled Providing and Laying Water Supply Line from Social Hospital Muzafarabad to Masjid Khizra, UC-09 Chashma. The work is a non-ADP municipal water-supply scheme and is being processed under the applicable SPPRA procurement rules. The estimated cost is **PKR 2,549,000**, with a bid security requirement of 5 percent of the estimated cost and a bid validity period of 90 days.
The bill of quantities includes the following printed items: Sr. 1, excavation for pipeline trenches and pits in ordinary soil, 1,750 Cft; Sr. 2, excavation in soft rock by hammering and chiselling, 7,700 Cft; Sr. 3a, supply, laying and fixing of 8-inch or 200 mm HDPE PE-100 pipe, 800 running feet; Sr. 4, refilling excavated material in trenches, 8,505 Cft; Sr. 5a, 8-inch 90-degree elbow, 1 No.; Sr. 5b, 8-inch 45-degree elbow, 1 No.; Sr. 5c, 200 mm cross tee, 1 No.; Sr. 5d, 8-inch butt fusion, 20 Nos.; Sr. 6, construction of a small wheel valve chamber, 1 No.; Sr. 7a, 8-inch MS tail piece, 2 Nos.; Sr. 8a, 8-inch CI sluice valve, 1 No.; and Sr. 9a, 8-inch air valve assembly, 2 Nos. The composite schedule amount is **PKR 2,347,500**, while non-schedule items total **PKR 80,000**.
Bidders should submit sealed bids at the Office of the Superintending Engineer, Town Municipal Corporation Ibrahim Hyderi, District Malir, Karachi, near Main National Highway Road, beside Benazir Elite Police Training Center, Razzakabad, Karachi. Bids must be submitted by **20 August 2026 at 2:00 PM**; opening will be held at **3:00 PM on 20 August 2026** at the same office. Eligibility requires valid PEC registration where applicable, Sindh Revenue Board registration, NTN, professional tax certificate, relevant five-year experience, turnover of **PKR 2 to 4 million** over the last three years, equipment evidence, and non-blacklisting affidavits.
