Welding, Carpentry, Electrical Items and Lab Stools for Establishment of EEE Workshop Practice Lab, CUI-Lahore Campus

Comsats University, Islamabad (Lahore Campus) invites sealed bids for procurement of Welding, Carpentry, Electrical Items and Lab Stools for the establishment of the EEE Workshop Practice Lab at its Lahore Campus. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and bids must be submitted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 portal by **October 7, 2026, 11:00 AM**. The bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM via EPADS. Manual submissions are not accepted. Items being procured: - Welding Items including Square M.S Pipe 31.75 mm x 31.75 mm x 18 SWG (20 ft length), M.S hook (Kunday) 2.5 inch x 1.5 inch x 1/4 inch, Cutter Disk 14 inch dia, Welding rod #12 (2.5 Kg/box), PVC boot for M.S pipe, Rowl Bolt 3 inch, Enamel (matt) black color paint. - Carpentry Items including Chipboard Lamination sheet 8 ft x 4 ft x 3/4 inch (Wood grain 532), Wooden strips 1.5 inch x 1/2 inch x 8 feet, M.S Iron nails of various sizes, Black Screws, Glue German/Calabond. - Electrical Items including light plugs 15 amp porcelain, power plugs 32 amp porcelain, PVC insulated electrical cables of various specifications, 24 watt SMD ceiling lights, powder coated D.B box with breakers, PVC duct, HDPE pipe, Steel nails. - Lab Stools: Supply of lab stools 1ft x 1ft x 2ft made of MS pipe 1.25 inch square 16 gauges with matt/powder coat finish paint in approved color, chemical resistant laminated top, PVC lapping, and PVC leg boots. Sample inspection is mandatory before quoting. The technical scope covers supply of all items as per specifications and quantities listed. Bidders must quote all items in each category without omission. The lab stools sample must be provided on bid opening day; failure to do so will result in bid rejection. Evaluation of samples will ensure compliance with specifications. One chance to improve the sample may be granted if deficiencies are found. Eligibility requires valid FBR registration (NTN/GSTN) and compliance with bidding rules. Bid security must be submitted in the form of Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, Call Deposit, Bank Guarantee, or Demand Draft. Bids must be submitted online on EPADS v2.0, with original bid security physically delivered to Comsats University Islamabad, Defence Road, Lahore before the deadline. The procurement will follow Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. Bidders are advised to carefully inspect the sample stool at CUI Lahore before quoting to avoid quality issues.
