Transportation of Wheat from Karachi, Gharo, PASCO Godown, and Pipri to Various Districts of Sindh for 2026-27

The Food Directorate Karachi Region invites bids for the transportation of wheat from Karachi, Gharo, PASCO Godown, and Pipri to various districts across Sindh for the financial year 2026-27. This annual tender is open to eligible transport contractors who are registered with the Sindh Revenue Board and FBR, and are listed on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Items being procured: - Wheat transportation from Karachi to Nawabshah (quantity: 90,566 metric tons) - Wheat transportation from Karachi to Khairpur (quantity: 53,539 metric tons) - Wheat transportation from Karachi to Larkana (quantity: 32,172 metric tons) - Wheat transportation from Karachi to Mirpurkhas (quantity: 31,954 metric tons) - Total quantity: 207,231 metric tons The technical scope includes the safe and timely movement of wheat stocks from the specified godowns in Karachi and its surroundings to the designated district warehouses. Bidders must ensure that their vehicles are fit for bulk wheat transport and comply with all relevant safety and hygiene standards. The contract will be awarded for the entire financial year, and rates must be quoted per metric ton for each route. Eligibility criteria require bidders to submit a valid registration certificate, proof of ATL status, and an earnest money deposit of 5,000 PKR per lot in the form of a pay order. Bids must be submitted electronically via the SPPRA e-PADS portal by the deadline of 12th September 2026. Late or incomplete bids will not be entertained.
