Tender Description
The Forest Department, Murree Forest Division, invites electronic bids for the maintenance of afforestation, natural regeneration, and small size afforestation works under CMPF development projects for the financial year 2026-27. This opportunity is open to experienced contractors and firms registered with FBR, PRA, and Forest Department Punjab, and possessing valid PEC registration where applicable. The works are to be executed at various sites within Murree, as detailed below.
Items being procured:
- Maintenance of Afforestation with Chinar Size Plants (2nd year) for 712 acres, including earthwork, pit digging, hoeing, weeding, and planting of Chinar, Kail, Deodar, and other species (Lot 1)
- Maintenance of Small Size Afforestation (2nd year) for 200 acres, including earthwork, pit digging, and planting of small size plants (Lot 2)
- Maintenance of Closure to Boost Natural Regeneration (ANR) for 750 acres, including sowing of Chir seeds, broad casting, and maintenance (Lot 3)
- Maintenance of Chinar Size Afforestation (2026-27) for 3000 plants, including pit digging, planting, and miscellaneous works (Lot 4)
- Maintenance of Partial Natural Regeneration (ANR) for 1250 acres, including sowing of Chir seeds, broad casting, and maintenance (Lot 5)
Each lot provides a detailed breakdown of sub-division wise and compartment wise sites, with specific quantities and locations such as Danni, Patriata, Sambal, Lower Topa, Bhurban, Ghora Gali, Ban Ranga, and Municipal Forests. The technical scope includes comprehensive maintenance activities, planting, and natural regeneration efforts to ensure the sustainability of forest resources in Murree.
Eligible bidders must submit scanned bid security of 5% of the estimated cost in the form of Bank Guarantee or PSID. The original instrument must be delivered to the office of the Deputy Conservator of Forests Murree before the closing date. Only firms registered on the Punjab e-Procurement portal and compliant with FBR and PRA requirements will be considered. Bidding documents are available online, and bids must be submitted electronically via www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk by 15 August 2024, 10:00 AM. The bid opening will take place on the same day at 11:00 AM.
