Tender Document
Tender Description
The Pakistan Navy Embarkation Headquarter in Karachi is procuring airfreight services for the transportation of naval stores from Oslo, Norway to Karachi, Pakistan. This tender invites freight forwarders who are security cleared by DGDP to submit quotations in PKR with a validity of 90 days. The shipment consists of four pallets with a total gross weight of approximately 1695 Kgs, including fragile electronic scoring targets and other general cargo. The pallets vary in size and weight, requiring careful handling and compliance with specified Incoterms FCA/FOB Oslo.
Interested bidders must be DGDP registered freight forwarders with proven experience in handling sensitive and high-value shipments. Quotations must be submitted in hard copy using double envelopes to the Commander Embarkation HQs at Naval Store Sub Depot, West Wharf Road, Karachi. The deadline for submission is 25 May 2026 by 10:00 AM, with the technical and financial bids opening at 10:30 AM the same day. Earnest Money or CDR requirements are not explicitly stated but bidders should ensure compliance with all tender conditions including no NOC/NCC issuance and penalty clauses for non-compliance.
Bidders are advised to clearly mark the name of the item and shipment weight on the outer envelope for identification. This tender offers a valuable opportunity for freight forwarders with DGDP security clearance to engage in a significant shipment contract with the Pakistan Navy. Timely submission and adherence to tender instructions will be critical for success. A practical tip for bidders is to verify all security clearances and documentation well in advance to avoid disqualification at the technical evaluation stage.
