Annual Contract for Repair & Maintenance of Street Lights of Various Roads of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation in District East

The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Engineering Department invites bids for the Annual Contract for Repair & Maintenance of street lights of various roads of KMC in District East. This contract covers comprehensive repair and maintenance works including electrical wiring, fixing of poles, flood lights, LED street lights, and associated civil works. Items being procured include: - Providing & laying PVC insulated cables of various sizes (1.5mm2, 2.5mm2, 4mm2, 16mm2, 25mm2) - Providing & fixing MS tubular poles of 31ft and 40ft with base plates and stiffeners - Construction of RCC foundations for poles - Manufacturing and fixing GI single arm double arch and double arm canopy type brackets - Providing and fixing angle iron brackets for flood lights - Providing and fixing flood lights of 250W, 400W (HPIT, SON, LED), LED street lights (50W, 100W, 150W), LED down lights, tunnel lights, RGB flood lights, LED strip lights, and solar street lights - Dismantling of old street light fittings, brackets, and poles - Providing ABC connectors and cables - Painting of street light poles - Providing and fixing distribution boards and earthing sets - Repairing existing collars and fabrication work to reduce pole heights - Construction of RCC foundations New Jersey barrier type - Other related electrical and civil works as per specifications The scope includes all materials, labour, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the works as per the instructions of the Engineer Incharge. Bidders must be registered with PEC in category C-6, EE-06 or above, hold valid NTN and Sindh Revenue Board registration, possess a valid Electric Contractors License from the Government of Sindh (Karachi Region), and have a PEC registered engineer on staff. Experience of similar works in the last five years is mandatory with proof of work orders and completion certificates. Financial soundness is required with a minimum annual turnover not less than the estimated cost. The estimated cost of the contract is **PKR 20,000,000** with a bid security of 5% of the estimated cost. Tender cost is PKR 5,000. The bid validity period is 90 days. Performance security of 5% of the estimated cost is required. Liquidated damages of PKR 3,000 per day apply for delay.
