AUCTION: Collection Rights for Parking Sites and Showroom Lease, Rawalpindi 2026-2027

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. Municipal Corporation Rawalpindi is inviting interested parties to participate in the open auction for the collection rights of various parking sites and the lease of a showroom for the financial year 2026-2027. The auction will be conducted under the Auctioning of Collection Rights Rules, 2016. The auction is scheduled to be held on 02-10-2026 at 12:00 PM at the office of the Municipal Corporation Rawalpindi. Items being auctioned: - Collection rights for parking sites (annual reserve price: Rs. 57,67,005; total for contract period: Rs. 5,76,70,050; earnest money: Rs. 5,76,700) - Lease of showroom (annual reserve price: Rs. 8,73,660; total for contract period: Rs. 8,73,660; earnest money: Rs. 87,366) The technical scope includes the management and operation of designated parking sites within Rawalpindi city, as well as the lease of a showroom property. The successful bidder will be responsible for fee collection, site maintenance, and compliance with all municipal regulations. The contract period for parking sites is from 01-10-2026 to 30-06-2027, and for the showroom, it is for the financial year 2026-2027. Eligibility criteria require bidders to submit a Pay Order of 10% of the reserve price as earnest money along with their application. Bidders must not be defaulters of the Municipal Corporation Rawalpindi and must provide valid CNIC copies. The auction will be conducted in accordance with the prescribed rules, and the highest bid will be considered for award, subject to approval by the competent authority. Bids must be submitted in person at the Municipal Corporation Rawalpindi office before the auction date.
