Tender Description
NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights.
Tehsil Council Chichawatni invites interested parties to participate in the open auction for the toll collection rights at Machiwal Toll Plaza for the financial year 2026-27. The auction will be conducted under the Punjab Local Governments (Auction of Collection Rights) Rules 2016 (amended till date). The auction is scheduled to take place on 26 October 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Tehsil Council office, Chichawatni.
Items being auctioned:
- Toll collection rights for Machiwal Toll Plaza, Chichawatni (Reserve Price: Rs. 1,410,000, Security Deposit: Rs. 100,000, Auction Participation Fee: Rs. 1,000)
The successful bidder will be granted the right to collect tolls at the specified plaza for the entire financial year. All interested participants must deposit a non-refundable participation fee of Rs. 1,000 and a security deposit (earnest money) of Rs. 100,000 in the form of CDR (Call Deposit Receipt) in the name of the Chief Officer, Tehsil Council Chichawatni, before the auction date. The highest bid must meet or exceed the reserve price of Rs. 1,410,000. The successful bidder will be required to pay the full bid amount as per the terms and conditions outlined in the auction notice.
Eligibility is open to all individuals and firms who are not defaulters of the Tehsil Council and have not been blacklisted. Bidders must bring original CNIC and proof of deposit for participation. The auction will be conducted in the presence of the auction committee, and the decision of the committee will be final. In case of any dispute or insufficient bids, the council reserves the right to re-auction the rights on 10 December 2026.
