Tender Description

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, through its Press Information Department (PID) based in Islamabad, invites reputable, experienced, and tax-compliant authorized service providers, auto workshops, firms, or contractors for the repair and maintenance of official vehicles, motor cycles, and scooters for the Financial Year 2026-2027. This procurement covers a comprehensive range of vehicle maintenance services including battery and tyre replacement, puncture services, air-conditioning servicing, oil changes, car polishing, and related maintenance work on a need basis. Items being procured: - Battery replacement - Tyre replacement - Puncture services - Air-conditioning servicing - Oil change - Car polish - Related maintenance work The scope of work requires service providers to maintain official vehicles nationwide, ensuring operational readiness and upkeep. The selected auto workshops will be responsible for all operational expenses such as fuel, tolls, and parking. Interested firms must have established operational offices in all major cities including Islamabad, be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), listed on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) for both Income Tax and Sales Tax, and registered on the PPRA e-PADS 2.0 portal. Tender documents are available at www.pid.gov.pk and on the e-PADS portal. Bidders must submit proposals exclusively through e-PADS 2.0, duly signed and stamped. A security deposit of Rs. 100,000 in the form of a Pay Order in favor of the Drawing & Disbursing Officer, Press Information Department, Islamabad, must be uploaded. Hard copy submissions will not be accepted or entertained. The deadline for submission is **July 29, 2026 by 11:00 PM**. Late, incomplete, partial, or conditional proposals will be rejected. Blacklisted firms are not eligible to participate. The quoted rates must remain valid until June 30, 2027. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your firm’s registration on the PPRA e-PADS 2.0 portal is complete and up to date before the submission deadline to avoid disqualification. Also, prepare your financial and technical documents carefully to meet all eligibility criteria and avoid rejection.
