Tender Description
The Pakistan Security Printing Corporation (Pvt.) Ltd, located in Karachi, Sindh, is procuring 53 distinct items of carpentry as per detailed technical specifications. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2025-26 and aims to supply and install various carpentry materials and tools at the PSPC site in Malir Halt, Karachi. The scope includes delivery, installation, integration, operational acceptance, training, documentation, and factory and site acceptance tests as specified in the Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
The technical scope covers a wide range of carpentry items such as local distemper, German white glue, cementex solution, fiber netting, glass suction cups, emery paper, lamination sheets, door locks, routers, hydraulic door closers, handles, glass sheets, hinges, PVC lippings, screwdrivers, saw blades, circular saw machines, wood sprays, magnet catchers, nails, sheets, cutting discs, trolley wheels, bolts, allen key sets, grinding discs, hand planers, impact drills, air blowers, masonry drill bits, and rotary hammer drills. Vendors must provide clear colored sample pictures with complete specifications for each item; failure to do so will result in bid rejection.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to be reputed manufacturers, contractors, or suppliers registered with tax authorities and active taxpayers. Bidders must not be blacklisted or under any declaration of ineligibility for corrupt or fraudulent practices. Compliance with PSPC's Code of Conduct and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies is mandatory, along with submission of undertakings regarding non-participation of current or former PSPC workforce. Experience certificates must be issued strictly in the name of the bidder.
The bid security (earnest money) is fixed at PKR 115,000 and must be submitted in the form of a pay order, demand draft, or unconditional bank guarantee enforceable in Pakistan. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS by May 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled the same day at 11:30 AM. Manual bids will not be accepted. The submission address is the Purchase Department, Pakistan Security Printing Corporation (Pvt.) Ltd, Jinnah Avenue, Malir Halt, Karachi.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all sample colored pictures and specifications are clear and complete as per BOQ requirements to avoid rejection. Additionally, bidders should strictly adhere to the single stage one envelope procedure and submit original bid security documents before the deadline to prevent disqualification. Understanding and complying with all technical and administrative requirements will enhance the chances of successful bid evaluation and contract award.
