Construction of Academic Block and External Development Works for University of Haveli Kahuta AJ&K

The University of Haveli Kahuta Azad Jammu & Kashmir Directorate of Works Planning & Development invites pre-qualification applications from experienced contractors for the construction of an Academic Block and External Development / Protection Works at its site in Kahuta City, covering approximately 20 kanals. This project is part of a government-approved development initiative to establish a self-owned campus for the university, which was established in 2025 and currently operates from government-provided buildings. The technical scope includes site preparation, excavation, concrete frame structures including foundations, columns, beams, slabs and roof slabs, plinth protection, masonry work for load bearing and non-load bearing walls, internal and external plastering, electrical and telecommunication installations, plumbing, plain cement concrete floors, finishing works such as paint, woodwork, doors, windows, floor finishes, roof finishing with waterproofing and tiling, construction of overhead and underground tanks for water and firefighting, and external development and protection works as per the Bill of Quantities to be shared later. Eligible contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Category C-2 or above with relevant specialization, hold active NTN and FBR registration, and have a proven track record of civil works projects with financial outlay of at least PKR 400 million completed in the last five years. Applicants must submit audited financial statements for the last five years, demonstrate personnel and equipment capabilities, and provide an affidavit confirming they are not blacklisted by any government agency. Pre-qualification documents are available from April 13, 2026 to May 4, 2026 upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 5,000 in the form of Demand Draft or Pay Order in favor of Treasurer University of Haveli Kahuta AJ&K. Applications must be submitted in sealed envelopes by hand or courier to the Office of Director Works Planning & Development, University of Haveli Kahuta AJ&K, no later than 1600 hours on May 5, 2026.
