Tender Description
The District Council Gujranwala invites sealed electronic tenders for the implementation of a budget allocation for the financial year 2026-27. Registered contractors on the Punjab E-Procurement System (E-PADS) and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category and codes are eligible to participate. The project involves the construction of a monument at the entry point of Gujranwala on G.T Road Sadhoke.
Items being procured:

Tenders and bidding documents must be downloaded from the Punjab E-Procurement System Portal and uploaded/submitted online on the Punjab E-Procurement System Dashboard by 18/11/2026 at 01:00 PM. The bids will be opened online/physically in the Hall of District Council Gujranwala on the same day at 02:00 PM in the presence of contractors or their authorized representatives before the Tender Opening Committee.
All contractors/firms must submit/upload their Bid Security online through the Punjab E-Procurement System (E-PADS) at 5% of the estimated cost as per prescribed electronic mechanisms. Conditional tenders will not be entertained. The method of selection will be least cost. Legal action will be taken against contractors submitting forged documents or bid security.
Successful bidders offering rates more than 4.99% below the estimated cost must deposit additional performance security according to PPRA/Works Rules 2017 within the stipulated period after acceptance of tender/bids. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of deposited money without further notice.
Contractors will be bound to perform the works in accordance with PPRA Rules and E-PADS regulations. The tender notice is also available on the PPRA website (http://eproc.punjab.gov.pk/ViewTender.aspx). Response time will be calculated from the date of publication on the PPRA website.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your PEC registration category matches the tender requirements and upload all documents carefully on the E-PADS portal before the deadline to avoid disqualification.
