Tender Description
The Chief Military Engineer Services (Army) Rawalpindi-II invites applications for pre-qualification and issuance of tenders for a comprehensive range of works including construction, repair, minor maintenance, provision, technical checks, and appointment of an auctioneer for miscellaneous buildings and B&R/E&M items within the Area of Responsibility (AOR) of CMES (Army) Rawalpindi-II. This tender is specifically for contractors operating in Rawalpindi, Punjab.
The technical scope covers a variety of civil and electrical works on multiple buildings and equipment. Contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and belong to approved MES categories A, B, C, or D. They must also demonstrate relevant experience and provide detailed records of works executed in the last two years, including departmental performance reports. Firms not on the approved MES list must submit certificates and detailed work history for evaluation.
The tender documents will only be issued to firms meeting all eligibility criteria, including PEC registration and no litigation history with government departments. The tender submission deadline is 22 June 2026 by 1130 hours, with opening at 1200 hours the same day. Interested parties can contact the CMES (Army) Rawalpindi-II office from 0800 to 1500 hours on working days for further details.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all technical and financial documents are complete and submitted on time, as late or incomplete bids will be rejected. Also, contractors should carefully review the proforma for work history to avoid disqualification. Earnest Money and CDR requirements should be prepared in advance to comply with tender rules. This opportunity is ideal for experienced contractors with strong credentials in civil and electrical maintenance works in military environments.
