Tender Description
The Military Engineer Services (MES) invites applications for pre-qualification of firms and contractors for consultancy services involving design and RE supervision of certain works across multiple cities including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Sialkot, Muzaffarabad, Swat, Karachi, Gwadar, Quetta, Ormara, Turbat, Taxila, and Kamra. This procurement is specifically managed by the Engineer-in-Chief Branch at GHQ Rawalpindi.
The scope of work includes consultancy services for design and resident engineering supervision for various construction, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing works. Firms must demonstrate experience in these fields and provide detailed work orders, project locations, and completion certificates. The tender emphasizes the need for firms registered with PEC in relevant categories, particularly Cat C-2 and above, valid until June 2026. Preference is given to firms enlisted with MES in Cat A, though non-enlisted firms may apply with a refundable 2% bid security.
Applicants must submit comprehensive documentation including personnel lists, bank statements, NTN certificates, and income tax returns for the last three years. The tender documents will be issued only to pre-qualified firms, and submissions must be received at the E-in-C’s Branch GHQ Rawalpindi by 1130 hours on 10 June 2026, with opening at 1200 hours the same day.
For bidders, it is crucial to ensure all required documents are complete and accurate to avoid disqualification. Early preparation of Earnest Money and CDR in line with tender requirements is advised. This tender offers a significant opportunity for firms with proven consultancy expertise in multi-disciplinary engineering services across key strategic locations in Pakistan.
