Development of Textbooks for Grade 9 and 11 Based on Curriculum 2024-25

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Textbook Board, Peshawar, invites Expressions of Interest from national publishers, individuals, authors, or groups of authors for the development of textbooks for Grade 9 and 11 based on the Curriculum 2024-25 notified by the Directorate of Curriculum & Teacher Education (DCTE), Abbottabad. This procurement is specifically for the development of textbooks in the subjects of Physics (Grade 9), Computer Science (Grade 9), Computer Science (Grade 11), and Islamiat Compulsory (Grade 11). Items being procured: - Physics Grade 9 - Computer Science Grade 9 - Computer Science Grade 11 - Islamiat Compulsory Grade 11 The scope includes manuscript development, submission, and reviews in accordance with approved rates. The Board requires publishers and authors with proven experience and requisite technical capacity in textbook development. Applicants must be registered with Income Tax authorities and demonstrate adequate experience and technical capacity as per prequalification documents. The prequalification documents are available free of cost from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Textbook Board office or can be downloaded from the official website https://ktb.kp.gov.pk. Complete EOIs must be submitted to the Secretary, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Textbook Board, Phase – V Hayatabad, Peshawar, by or before 20 July 2026. Late submissions will not be entertained. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all EOIs without assigning any reason. Qualified publishers will bear all expenses related to manuscript development and submission. Applicants are advised to carefully read the prequalification documents and ensure all required information and supporting documents are provided. Incomplete applications or those without prescribed documents will be rejected. False statements or forged documents may lead to disqualification and legal action. For bidders, a practical tip is to ensure full compliance with the prequalification requirements and submit a complete, well-documented EOI package well before the deadline to avoid disqualification. Early submission also allows time for clarifications if needed.
