Tender Description
The Federal Board of Revenue, Collectorate of Customs (Enforcement) at Custom House Lahore is inviting bids for the complete dismantling of 123 confiscated tampered vehicles. These vehicles include 115 cars and jeeps, 6 Mazda dumper trucks, and 2 motorcycles. The vehicles are currently stored at Customs State Warehouses located in Lahore, Gujranwala, and Sialkot. This tender is specifically for qualified firms capable of handling vehicle dismantling services in these cities.
The technical scope requires dismantling all parts of the vehicles such as doors, dashboards, wheels, lights, radiators, and engines. Engines must be extracted in their original condition. The chassis frames and stickers pasted on the vehicle frames will be cut into parts as per sample and preserved by the department. The vehicle bodies must be cut into at least four pieces. This detailed dismantling ensures compliance with customs enforcement regulations and proper disposal of confiscated vehicles.
Eligible bidders should be registered with FBR and have relevant experience in vehicle dismantling or related services. Firms must submit their bids through the EPADS online portal by the deadline. Manual submissions will not be accepted. Earnest Money in the form of a security deposit amounting to 5% of the bid and a performance guarantee of 10% must be deposited, totaling 15% of the bid amount, payable to the Collector, Collectorate of Customs (Enforcement), Lahore.
The last date for submission is **20th May 2026**, with the tender opening scheduled on the same day at 11:00 AM in the office of the Assistant Collector (Auction), 2nd Floor, Custom House, Nabha Road, Lahore. Bidders are advised to carefully review the bid documents available on EPADS V2.0 and ensure timely online submission to avoid disqualification.
A practical tip for bidders is to prepare all technical and financial documents well in advance and verify the online submission process on EPADS. Late or manual submissions are strictly not allowed, so early submission will help avoid last-minute technical issues and ensure compliance with all tender requirements.
