Tender Description
The Karachi Fisheries Harbour Authority (KFHA) invites interested parties to participate in the public auction for the disposal of old, sunken, under-construction, non-operational, abandoned, and defaulter fishing boats located in the Harbour Channel, Boat Building Yard, and other areas within Karachi Fish Harbour. This auction is conducted on an As Is Where Is basis, meaning the boats will be sold without any warranty or guarantee regarding their condition, seaworthiness, or fitness for any purpose. The auction covers a wide range of boats including sunken, abandoned, and non-operational vessels anchored in the harbour channel and boat building yard areas. Interested bidders may inspect the boats during office hours by contacting the Director Operations at KFHA. The highest bid will be subject to approval by the competent authority. Successful bidders must deposit 25% of the bid amount immediately upon acceptance and the remaining 75% within three working days. Removal of auctioned boats including debris and residual material must be completed within seven days of full payment. All taxes, duties, levies, and statutory charges are the responsibility of the successful bidder. KFHA disclaims any liability for loss, damage, or disputes arising from the auction.
This auction is a unique opportunity for suppliers and buyers interested in acquiring fishing boats and related assets in Karachi. The auction date is every Tuesday commencing from 28 July 2026 at 11:00 AM at the KFHA Head Office, Fish Harbour, West Wharf Road, Karachi. Bidders should ensure timely submission of applications along with a refundable bid security of Rs.100,000 in the form of a pay order favoring KFHA.
