Tender Description
Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) invites e-bids for the supply and installation of 2x3 ductline with manholes, HT/LT direct burial road/area crossing, supply of 1st class burnt bricks, supply of sand (free of dust, coarse), plinth earthing of LBs, transformers, and bases of D-Boxes for laying of HT/LT underground cables. The works also include the conversion of electrical services from overhead to underground as per working design by the authority. The projects are located at various sites in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, with the main office at Rawal Grid Station, Islamabad.
Items being procured:
- Lot 06: 2x3 ductline with manholes, HT/LT direct burial road/area crossing, 1st class burnt bricks, sand (coarse), plinth earthing, transformer bases, D-Boxes, conversion of electrical services to underground at Rawalpindi (Rs. 15,547,945)
- Lot 07: Same scope at Rawalpindi (Rs. 15,517,647)
- Lot 08: Same scope at Rawalpindi (Rs. 14,942,837)
- Lot 09: Same scope at Rawalpindi (Rs. 14,642,837)
- Lot 10: Same scope at Rawalpindi (Rs. 14,187,837)
The technical scope covers all civil and electrical works required for the safe and reliable conversion of overhead lines to underground cabling, including all associated civil works, supply of materials, and installation as per IESCO standards. The works are to be executed at specified locations, including God Chowk to MG Gate No. 2, Adyala Road, and other designated sites.
Eligible bidders must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category (EE-04, EE-06, EE-05, CE-10 & above), have valid FBR/ATL registration for FY 2025-26, and demonstrate experience in similar works. Financial criteria include minimum net worth, average annual turnover, and cash flow as specified for each lot. Earnest Money in the form of CDR/Pay Order/Bank Guarantee is required as per BOQ cost. Only e-bids through the E-PADS portal (http://www.epaeds.punjab.gov.pk) are accepted. The deadline for bid submission is 25 August 2026, with technical bid opening on 26 August 2026 at 11:00 AM for most lots.
