Tender Description
The Directorate General of Archaeology and Museums Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites bids for important heritage conservation and land acquisition works in Peshawar and Mardan. This tender covers two key projects: F/S and Land Acquisition of National Heritage Sites in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with a focus on Conservation and Rehabilitation of Entrances and Developmental Works at Mahabat Khan Mosque, Peshawar, and Conservation and Restoration work at the World Heritage site, Buddhist Ruins of Takht-I-Bahi and neighbouring city remains at Sahr-I-Bahlol, Mardan.
Items being procured:
- F/S and Land Acquisition of National Heritage Sites (Sub Head: Conservation/Rehabilitation of Entrances and Developmental Works at Mahabat Khan Mosque, Peshawar)
- Conservation and Restoration work at Buddhist Ruins of Takht-I-Bahi and Neighbouring City Remains at Sahr-I-Bahlol, Mardan
The technical scope includes detailed conservation, restoration, and rehabilitation works at these culturally significant sites. The projects require specialized expertise in heritage site management and restoration, ensuring preservation of historical integrity while facilitating developmental improvements. The work will be carried out under the supervision of the Engineering Wing of the Directorate General of Archaeology and Museums.
Eligible bidders must have valid registration with the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (KPPRA), Pakistan Engineering Council with specialized codes BC-02, and active status with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) and Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). Experience in similar heritage conservation projects is essential.
The complete set of Bid Solicitation Documents can be obtained by 05/08/2026 at 04:00 PM from the Engineering Wing office upon submission of a written application and payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 3,000 in cash. The last date for submission of technical and financial bids is 06/08/2026 at 12:30 PM, with technical bids opening at 02:30 PM the same day. Bidders must submit physical bidding documents and original bid security to the Senior Archl. Engineer office before 2:00 PM on the closing date.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all bid documents are complete and free from conditional or un-attested corrections to avoid disqualification. Early acquisition of bidding documents and thorough compliance with KPRA rules will enhance chances of success.
