Tender Description
The Provincial Highway Division Jamshoro is procuring works for the improvement of the road from Wahur Road to Syed Imtiaz Ali Shah Ji Landhi Mile 0/0-0/4+330' covering a length of 0.9 kilometers. This tender is issued by the Executive Engineer, Provincial Highway Division Jamshoro, Sindh. The project involves comprehensive road improvement including earthwork, brick edging, base course preparation, surface dressing, asphalt concrete wearing course, pavement marking, and installation of traffic signs.
Items being procured:
- Earthwork for road embankment by bulldozers including ploughing, mixing, clod breaking, dressing and compacting (177,200 Cft)
- Laying brick on end edging including supply of first class burnt bricks (6,118 Rft)
- Preparing base course by supplying and spreading stone metal of approved quality (19,246 Cft)
- Providing first coat of surface dressing with bitumen and bajri (36,709 Sft)
- Laying mechanically plant mixed Asphalt Concrete Wearing Course (36,709 Sft)
- Pavement marking in reflective thermo plastic paint for lines of 6" width (6,118 Rft)
- Installation of village board and caution boards (various quantities)
- Construction of 3' feet span culvert including excavation, cement concrete, brick work, centering, plain and reinforced concrete, steel reinforcement, and cement plaster (various quantities)
The technical scope includes earthworks, base preparation, asphalt laying, and construction of culverts with reinforced concrete and masonry. The site is located in Jamshoro, Sindh, and the works are to be completed within 24 months from the commencement date. Bidders must be licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the appropriate category and registered with FBR/ATL. Experience in similar road construction projects is required.
The bid security is 5% of the estimated cost, and the bid validity period is 90 days. Bids must be submitted in hard copy to the office opposite Irrigation Workshop near NADRA Office Main Road Kotri. The submission deadline is 7 days after the publish date or as per NIT, with bid opening at the same venue. The submission method is sealed bids delivered in person or by registered mail.
