Tender Description
The Communication & Works Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites bids through Single Stage Two Envelope E-PADS procedure for the improvement and widening of Gatkai to Letai Blacktopped Road, spanning 13 kilometers in District Bajaur. This procurement is open to government contractors registered with PEC and enlisted with the C&W Department.
Items being procured:
- Package No. I: KM No. 1 to 5 (5 Kms), Estimated Cost Rs. 162.540 Million, Bid Security Rs. 3.290 Million, Tender Fee Rs. 49,000
- Package No. II: KM No. 6 to 10 (5 Kms), Estimated Cost Rs. 144.616 Million, Bid Security Rs. 2.932 Million, Tender Fee Rs. 43,500
- Package No. III: KM No. 11 to 13 (3 Kms), Estimated Cost Rs. 92.703 Million, Bid Security Rs. 1.895 Million, Tender Fee Rs. 28,000
The scope includes road improvement and widening works as per the work order. Contractors must be registered in PEC category C-4 and above. Bid security in the form of Call Deposit Receipt and tender fee (non-refundable) must be submitted with the technical proposal. Technical proposals are to be uploaded on the E-PADS portal in PDF format and also submitted in hard copy (1 original + 1 copy) to the office of the Executive Engineer, Highway Division Bajaur.
The last date for submission of e-bids is 23rd September 2026 at 1:00 pm, with technical bids opening at 1:30 pm the same day. Financial bid opening date will be announced after technical bid approval. Post qualification can be obtained from the undersigned office on cash payment of Rs. 3000/- (non-refundable) one day before tender opening.
Bidders are advised to carefully follow the Bid Solicitation Documents (BSD) available at kp.eprocure.gov.pk. Submission of forged or misleading documents will lead to disqualification and possible legal penalties. All prevailing KP Public Procurement Rules apply.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your Call Deposit Receipt and tender fee are original and reach the office before the closing date to avoid disqualification. Also, upload your technical proposal correctly on the E-PADS portal and submit the hard copies timely to avoid rejection.
