Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the supply of six specialized lab equipment items for the School of Chemical and Materials Engineering (SCME) at NUST Islamabad. The procurement is managed by the Local Purchase Committee of SCME, focusing on high-quality lab instruments essential for advanced research and academic purposes in Islamabad.
The scope includes delivery and installation of lab equipment with detailed technical specifications provided in annexures. Suppliers must be authorized OEMs or distributors with NTN and active ATL status in FBR records. The equipment must come with a one-year warranty and support, ensuring compliance with SCME-NUST standards. Delivery is expected within 10 to 15 weeks, with all loading and unloading charges borne by the supplier.
Bidders should ensure their PEC registration and FBR ATL status are current for the 2025-26 financial year. The tender requires earnest money of PKR 200,000 in the form of a refundable bank draft and a non-refundable processing fee of PKR 3,000. Compliance with PPRA rules, including submission of detailed company profiles, tax records, and OEM authorization letters, is mandatory.
The submission deadline is set for 31st October 2023, with bids to be submitted via the e-PADS online portal. However, a sealed hard copy of the technical bid with earnest money must be presented at the time of technical bid opening. The physical address for submission is the Local Purchase Committee, SCME, NUST Islamabad.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the tender documents for the exact format of financial quotations and ensure all annexures are duly filled and signed. Missing or incomplete documentation can lead to disqualification, so attention to detail is crucial for success.
