Tender Description
The Provincial Buildings Division-II, Sindh Secretariat Karachi invites bids for the maintenance and repair works of Sindh Secretariat Building No. I Karachi addressing day to day complaints. This tender covers civil, water supply, and sanitary fittings works to ensure the building remains functional and well-maintained.
Items being procured:
- P/F approved quality of door closer with fixing on door (12 Nos)
- P/F approved quality of mortice lock (20 Nos)
- Providing and fixing doors, windows, and ventilators of first class deodar wood frames with teak wood ply shutters (122.5 Sft)
- French polishing old works (798 Sft)
- Scraping and painting walls with oil bound distemper (4122 Sft)
- Painting with matt finish paint (4122 Sft)
- Providing and fixing UPVC pipes and specials including cutting and fittings (1/2" dia and 4" dia)
- Providing and fixing European type white glazed earthenware wash down W.C. pan (2 Nos)
- Supplying and fixing C.P muslim shower with double bib cock (4 Nos)
- Supplying and fixing C.P bib cock (10 Nos)
- Supplying and fixing bathroom accessories set including towel rod, brush holder, soap tray, shelf (4 sets)
- Providing and fixing white glazed lavatory basin with fittings (2 Nos)
- P/F PVC wall paneling 4mm to 6mm thick (930 Sft)
- M/F false ceiling gypsum board panels 24"x24" (1487.5 Sft)
- P/F artificial marble top for vanity or sink bowl (16 Sft)
- P/F sanitary fittings chrome plated heavy gauge side pillar cock and tee cock (2 Nos and 8 Nos respectively)
- P/F UPVC fittings of schedule 40 ASTM-D-1785 standard including elbows, sockets, tees, P-traps, plain tees (various quantities)
The scope includes all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the satisfactory completion of the works as per specifications and directions of the Engineer Incharge. The work site is the Sindh Secretariat Building No. I located in Karachi.
Bidders must be registered with PEC where applicable and have valid NTN and FBR registration. Earnest money of 5% of the bid amount is required, which will be converted into performance guarantee after successful bidding. The contract period is three months from the date of commencement. Income tax at 8% will be deducted from bills.
The deadline for submission of bids is 22-09-2026 at 11:30 A.M. Bids will be opened on the same day and time at the office of the Executive Engineer, Provincial Buildings Division-II, Sindh Secretariat Karachi. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes at the specified address.
