Tender Description
The Provincial Buildings Division No: II Karachi invites bids for the maintenance and repair work of the Sindh Secretariat Building located in Karachi. This procurement covers day to day complaint electric work to ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of electrical installations within the Secretariat.
Items being procured:
- Providing and fixing Circuit Breakers (6,10,15,20,30,40,50 & 63 Amps SP) - 10 Nos
- Providing and fixing Circuit Breakers (15,20,30,40,50 & 60 Amps TP) - 4 Nos
- Wiring for light or fan points with 3/.029 PVC insulated wire in 20mm Channel Patti on surface - 72 P.Pts
- Wiring for Plug points with 3/.029 PVC insulated wire in 20mm Channel Patti on surface - 20 P.Pts
- Providing and laying PVC insulated copper conductor in 3/4" dia PVC conduit recessed in wall - 666 P.Rft
- Providing and laying PVC insulated copper conductor in 1" dia PVC conduit on surface - 624 P.Rft
- Providing and laying PVC insulated copper conductor in 3/4" dia PVC conduit recessed in wall - 636 P.Rft

- Services of split AC 2 Tons including changing of walls, gas charge, cartage, labour etc - 1 P.Job
- Services of split AC 1.5 Tons including changing of walls, gas charge, cartage, labour etc - 2 P.Job

The scope includes electrical wiring, installation of circuit breakers, fans, LED lighting, and servicing of split air conditioners as per approved specifications. The work will be carried out at the Sindh Secretariat Building, Karachi, under the supervision of the Executive Engineer.
Bidders must be registered with the relevant PEC category and have valid NTN and FBR registration. Earnest money of 5% of the bid amount is required, which will be converted into performance guarantee after successful bidding. The contract period is three months from the date of commencement.
The deadline for submission of bids is 04-09-2026 at 11:30 A.M. Bids will be opened on the same day and time at the office of the Executive Engineer, Provincial Buildings Division No: II, Barrack No.18, Block 4-A, Sindh Secretariat Saddar Karachi.
