Tender Description
This tender invites qualified contractors to undertake maintenance and repair works for the Sindh Secretariat Building II (Tughlaq House) located in Karachi. The procuring agency is the Provincial Buildings Division No: II. The scope covers day to day complaint electric work ensuring the building's electrical systems are fully operational and compliant with safety standards.
Items being procured:
- Providing and fixing Circuit Breakers (6,10,15,20,30,40,50 & 63 Amps SP) - 10 Nos
- Providing and fixing Circuit Breakers (15,20,30,40,50 & 60 Amps TP) - 4 Nos
- Wiring for light or fan points with 3/.029 PVC insulated wire in 20mm channel patti on surface - 72 points
- Wiring for plug points with 3/.029 PVC insulated wire in 20mm channel patti on surface - 20 points
- Providing and laying PVC insulated copper conductor in 3/4" dia PVC conduit recessed in wall - 666 running feet
- Providing and laying PVC insulated copper conductor in 1" dia PVC conduit on surface - 624 running feet
- Providing and laying PVC insulated copper conductor in 3/4" dia PVC conduit recessed in wall - 636 running feet
- Providing and fixing AC electric bracket fan 18" - 1 Each
- P/F LED Tube light 36 watt imported make Phillips or equivalent - 24 Each
- P/F Fancy type flower body ceiling fan (24" x 24") Pak Royal Millat make - 6 Each
- P/F LED light panel frame size (24"x24") down light Phillips make - 8 Each
- Providing and fixing LED down light 12 to 18 watts imported with metal base - 70 Each
- Providing and fixing LED down light 22 watts 6" dia - 40 Jobs
- Services of split AC 2 tons including wall changes, gas charge, cartage, labour - 1 Job
- Services of split AC 1.5 tons including wall changes, gas charge, cartage, labour - 2 Jobs

The technical scope includes installation, wiring, and servicing of electrical components as per approved specifications and standards. The work will be carried out at the Sindh Secretariat Saddar Karachi site. Contractors must have valid PEC registration for electrical works and be registered with FBR with an active ATL status. Earnest money of 5% of the bid amount is required, which will convert into performance guarantee upon award. The contract duration is three months from the date of commencement.
Bids must be submitted by 22-09-2026 at 11:30 AM at the office of the Executive Engineer, Provincial Buildings Division No: II, Barrack No.18, Block 4-A, Sindh Secretariat Saddar Karachi. The bid opening will be held on the same date and time. Bidders should ensure their bids are complete and submitted before the deadline to avoid rejection.
