Major Renovation & Refurbishment Works of NBP PAF Chaklala Branch (0557) RO Rawalpindi

The National Bank of Pakistan (Engineering Wing North Islamabad) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the major renovation and refurbishment works of the NBP PAF Chaklala Branch (0557) located in Rawalpindi. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be conducted through the National Single Stage-One Envelope procedure using the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. Items being procured: - Dismantling works including masonry walls, false ceiling, cash counters, flooring, tiles, ramps, marble, steel doors, windows, glass works, electrical and plumbing fixtures - Reinforcement cement concrete works including RCC walls, beams, lintels, shelves, slabs - Steel reinforcement with Grade 60 deformed bars - Brick masonry work with cement sand mortar - Plaster work of various thicknesses - Plain cement concrete (PCC) under floor and flooring - Porcelain tiles of various sizes and colors - Wooden textured tiles and laminated flooring - Granite skirting and threshold - Glass doors and partitions including tempered and wooden frame glass doors - Wooden doors, flush doors, wooden partitions, bulkheads, and false ceilings - Internal and external paint works - Wooden cabinets including kitchen and filing cabinets - Gypsum sheet false ceiling and wooden rafters - Aluminum windows, louvers, roller blinds, and railings - Front elevation tiles and glazing - Safety grills, GI shutters, steel doors for ATM and guard rooms - Wooden wall and column cladding, PVC wall panels - Cash counters and wooden drawers - Termite proofing and repair works - Tuff tiles and fiber glass parking shed - Logo/theme wall and roof treatment works - Plumbing fixtures and installation including European style WCs, wash basins, kitchen sinks, and accessories - Water supply system including PP-R pipes, GI pipes, valves, water tanks, and hot water heaters - Soil, waste, vent, and rainwater drainage system with UPVC pipes and fittings - External sewer and manholes construction - Office furniture including branch manager table, officer tables, credenzas, drawer pedestals, CPU trolleys, revolving chairs, visitor chairs, waiting benches, reception chairs, sofas, center and side tables, and reception counter - Electrical wiring including circuit wiring, point wiring, switch socket outlets, industrial sockets, cable containment, floor boxes, technological boxes, pull boxes, data/voice fixtures, racks and panels, telephone junction boxes, distribution boards, circuit breakers, changeover switches, protective devices - Burglar alarm system wiring and devices - Earthing system with copper plates and rods - Fire extinguishers - CCTV wiring - Lighting fixtures including LED panel lights, downlights, spotlights - Fans of various types - Air conditioning units of various capacities and types - Shifting and relocation of existing AC units - Standard strong room door fire proof with installation and testing The scope covers all materials, labor, equipment, and services necessary for the complete execution of the renovation and refurbishment works as per the detailed specifications and drawings. Eligibility criteria include valid registration with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-5 or above with specialization codes CE-10 & EE-04, active status on FBR Active Taxpayer List and Punjab Revenue Authority, and experience of at least three similar projects above Rs. 25 million in the last three years. Bids must be submitted electronically through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 portal by 15th September 2026 at 11:00 AM. Manual submissions will not be accepted. Bid security in the form of pay order, banker's cheque, or demand draft must be submitted in hard copy to the Head Civil Engineering, Engineering Wing North Islamabad, NBP Regional Office, G-5/1 Islamabad before the bid submission deadline. Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM via EPADS. The contract performance guarantee is 10% of the contract price in the form of a bank guarantee. The contract duration is 150 days with liquidated damages of 0.1% per day up to a maximum of 10% of the contract price for delays. Bidders are advised to carefully review the bidding documents, including detailed specifications, bill of quantities, and terms and conditions available on EPADS portal.
