Tender Description
The Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering & Management Sciences (BUITEMS) located in Quetta is procuring office furniture through a Single Stage-One Envelope competitive bidding process. The procurement includes a variety of office furniture items such as ergonomic executive chairs with adjustable height and swivel functionality, executive tables made with high particle lamination board and sheesham wood edges, mobile drawers with locking mechanisms, computer racks with CPU compartments and keyboard trays, visitor chairs cushioned in leatherette, sofa sets with foam warranty, center tables, and folder/file racks with multiple shelves. This procurement is specifically for the BUITEMS Takatu Campus premises.
Interested bidders must be registered with the Income and Sales Tax Departments of Pakistan and must be on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). Experience in supplying similar furniture to federal or provincial universities or education boards is required. Bidders must submit a non-refundable tender document fee of Rs. 1,000 and provide a refundable bid security of 2% of the total bid price in the form of a CDR or bank guarantee. The bids must be valid for 60 days and submitted to the Directorate of Procurement, BUITEMS, Airport Road, Quetta by 3:00 pm on 11th May 2026. Bids will be opened the same day at 3:30 pm in the presence of bidders or their representatives.
