Operation and Servicing Maintenance of Five Thyssen Passenger Lifts and Three Hyundai Passenger Lifts at Civic Centre Buildings Gulshan-e-Iqbal Karachi

The Karachi Development Authority (KDA) invites tenders for the operation and servicing maintenance of passenger lifts installed at the Civic Centre Buildings in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi. This procurement is conducted under the Single Stage One Envelope system as per SPPRA guidelines. Items being procured: - Operation and servicing maintenance of five (05) Thyssen passenger lifts - Operation and servicing maintenance of three (03) Hyundai passenger lifts The scope includes regular maintenance and servicing to ensure smooth and safe operation of the lifts at the Civic Centre Buildings. The contract duration is 12 months, requiring experienced contractors or firms with relevant expertise in lift maintenance. Eligibility criteria include a valid NTN certificate, SRB registration certificate, and PEC Category C-6 Code ME-06. Bidders must demonstrate an average annual turnover equivalent to the estimated cost or more, supported by bank statements and audit reports for the last three years. Proof of relevant experience with at least one work of 80% of the estimated cost or two works of 50% executed or being executed in the last three years is mandatory. Affidavit regarding no blacklisting or litigation with government departments is also required. The tender fee is Rs. 3,000/- non-refundable, payable via Pay Order in favor of Karachi Development Authority. Bid security of Rs. 350,000/- must be submitted along with the bid. Bids are to be submitted through the E-PAD system by 18-11-2026 at 02:30 P.M. Technical documents must be uploaded to the EPAD website. Bids will be opened on the same day at 03:00 P.M. at Room #406, 4th Floor, Civic Centre Complex, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi. All original documents must be presented for verification upon request by the procurement committee. Submission of forged or fake documents will lead to rejection and penalties.
