Tender Description
The Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) is inviting sealed bids through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 for the procurement of Lynx Conductors under the project PMU-26/2026-27 Lynx Conductor with tender reference number P84013. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and aims to supply high-quality Lynx Conductors conforming to NTDC/WAPDA P-50:1988 specifications (amended to date). The procurement is managed by the Manager Procurement (PMU) MEPCO located at Khanewal Road, Multan.
Items being procured:
- Lynx Conductor, Quantity: 444 Km
The technical scope includes supply of Lynx Conductors manufactured as per NTDC/WAPDA specifications with a warranty period of 2 years. The delivery schedule is 90 days from the date of contract. Bidders must be registered with FBR, have valid PEC categories, and demonstrate prior experience with at least two contracts of similar or higher rating in the last 10 years. The manufacturer must have at least 5 years of design/manufacturing experience and provide satisfactory operational certificates. Bid security in the form of Pay Order, Call Deposit, Bank Guarantee, or Demand Draft is mandatory.
Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 before Monday, August 31, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Manual submissions will not be accepted. The technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 10:30 AM. Interested bidders must register on EPADS v2.0 to participate. The procurement will follow the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) method. The Procuring Agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
