Pre-Qualification for Annual Repairs and Maintenance of Machinery and Hardware

The Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Islamabad invites bids for pre-qualification of annual repairs and maintenance for the Financial Year 2026-27. The procurement covers two main areas: repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment, and repair and maintenance of hardware. Bidders must be original manufacturers, authorized dealers, or reputed workshops registered with Income & Sales Tax Departments and listed on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of FBR. They should have offices or stocks in Rawalpindi or Islamabad. Items being procured: - Repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment - Repair and maintenance of hardware Tender documents will be collected exclusively through the E-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (EPADS) for the 2026-27 tender cycle. No manual or hard copy bids will be accepted. The opening of bids will take place at the Committee Room, Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety, 4th Floor, Evacuee Complex, F-5/1, Islamabad, in the presence of bidders or their representatives as per PPRA Rule 13(1). Bidders must submit a bid security of Rs. 35,000 in the form of a refundable Bank Draft or Pay Order in favor of the Section Officer (General), Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety. This bid security must accompany the bid submission and will be handled according to Rule-25 of PPRA Rules-2004. The Purchase Committee reserves the right to reject any proposal prior to acceptance as per Rule-33 of PPRA Rules-2004. Interested bidders are advised to register on the EPADS portal (https://eprocure.gov.pk) to obtain bidding documents, item specifications, and detailed terms and conditions from the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety, PPRA, and EPADS websites. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely registration and submission through EPADS to avoid disqualification due to non-compliance with the no manual bid policy. Also, carefully prepare the bid security instrument as per instructions to avoid rejection.
