Tender Description
The Military Engineer Services (MES) invites pre-qualification applications from contractors and firms for various repair and maintenance works under the supervision of the Commander MES (Defence Production) at Railway Road Chaklala Rawalpindi. The works include a range of repair, maintenance, and supply tasks essential for the upkeep and operational readiness of MES facilities.
Items being procured:
- Bazar Supply For B&R Items under B&R-II Sub Division of GE DFHQ Chaklala (Rs. 8.000 Million)
- Misc Repair / Maintenance / Replacement Works under GE DFHQ Chaklala (Rs. 200.000 Million)
- Misc Repair / Maintenance / Replacement Works under GE Maintenance DP Chaklala (Rs. 30.000 Million)
- Appointment of Government Auctioneer
- Misc Repair / Maintenance / Replacement Works under GE NDU (Rs. 40.000 Million)
- Repair and maintenance of Furniture, Replacement of Defected Parts, Re-Polishing, Re-Cushioning & Washing / Dry Cleaning at Block No.3 under GE Maint/Project NDU Complex Islamabad (Rs. 9.980 Million)
- Misc Repair/Maintenance Works at HQ NSC under GE NSC Chaklala (Rs. 100.000 Million)
The scope covers comprehensive repair and maintenance activities including furniture refurbishment, defect replacement, polishing, and cleaning services at various MES locations including Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Contractors must be registered with the MES approved list or provide evidence of their capability and financial standing. Earnest money in the form of FDR or CDR is required, and contractors not on the approved list must deposit 2% of the estimated cost separately.
Applications must be submitted by 15 September 2026, with tenders received by 1130 hours and opened at 1200 hours the same day. Detailed work history, financial standing, and staff details must be provided on the prescribed proforma.
