Tender Description
The Military Engineer Services (MES) invites applications for pre-qualification of contractors/firms by Garrison Engineer (Army) Rwp-II for the issuance of tenders related to construction, repair, and maintenance works of provisional and bazar supply TC/DC miscellaneous buildings within the Area of Responsibility (AOR) of GE (Army) Rwp-II in Rawalpindi.
Items being procured:
- Construction, Repair, and Maintenance of Provisional and Bazar Supply TC/DC Miscellaneous Buildings in AOR of GE (Army) Rwp-II
Contractors are required to submit their applications along with complete credentials as specified. Only firms with sufficient experience and those who satisfy special conditions will be issued tender documents. Contractors must provide a certificate confirming no involvement in litigation with the Government Department and no outstanding special reports from the Director of Inspection and Evaluation (E-in-C's Branch GHQ).
All contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and submit a copy of their registration. Contractors not registered with PEC are ineligible. Contractors on the approved MES list in categories A, B, C, D, and E may apply. The tender must be received by 11:30 hrs on 15 October 2026 and will be opened at 12:00 hrs the same day. Contractors may be present at the time of tender opening.
Interested parties can contact the office of Garrison Engineer (Army) Rwp-II from 0800 to 1500 hours on all working days for further details. Firms not on the approved MES list must furnish a certificate with details of work executed during the last two years and those currently in hand as per the provided proforma.
Bidders should ensure timely submission of Earnest Money and comply with all PEC and MES requirements. It is advisable to visit the office early to clarify any queries and verify documentation to avoid disqualification.
