Pre-Qualification of Firm/Contractors for Third Party Testing and Inspection of Corrosion Control Services

Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC), Pakistan’s leading integrated gas company, invites pre-qualification applications from local or joint venture firms for third party testing and inspection services related to corrosion control. This tender is issued by the Procurement Department of SSGC in Karachi, Sindh. Items being procured: - Heat Shrink Sleeves - Cold Applied Polymeric Tapes - Bitumen Coating - Liquid Epoxy - Fusion Bonded Epoxy - 3PLY/2PLY Tapes The scope includes inspection to ensure supplied materials meet SSGC specifications, raw material consistency, appropriate material selection for pipelines, compliance with latest codes and standards, and witnessing coating application activities. Inspection methods include visual inspection, contact thermometers, stopwatch timing, and various international standards such as ASTM, ISO, SSPC, and NACE. Eligibility requires legally incorporated firms with sound financial records, competent personnel with over 10 years experience in cathodic protection and coating inspection, international accreditation for inspection work, adequate setup and equipment, and ISO 17025 certified laboratories. Firms must comply with all applicable laws and regulations and submit audited financial statements for the last three fiscal years. Bids must be submitted online via EPADS portal by 10-08-2026 at 1030 hours. The public bid opening will be held the same day at 1100 hours online.
