Preventive Maintenance of Domestic OFC - Naran to Babusar Top Section (500 Mtr)

The Special Communications Organization (SCO) invites tenders from qualified vendors and contractors for the preventive maintenance of Domestic Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) covering the section from Naran to Babusar Top, spanning 500 meters. This maintenance work is critical to ensure uninterrupted communication services in the Rawalpindi region. Items being procured: - Preventive Maintenance of Domestic OFC - Naran to Babusar Top Section (500 Mtr) The scope includes thorough inspection, repair, and upkeep of the fiber optic cable infrastructure to maintain optimal performance and prevent service disruptions. Contractors must ensure compliance with technical standards and safety regulations during execution. Eligibility criteria require contractors to be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and to be security-wise cleared. Blacklisted contractors will not be entertained. A tender fee of Rs. 3000/- in cash (non-refundable) is mandatory for obtaining tender documents, which will be available from 18 September 2026. The selected contractor will be required to deposit 2% of the total contract amount as a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR), refundable upon successful completion, claimed from CMA FWO Rawalpindi. Quotations must be submitted to the office of the Commanding Officer, 62 Composite Signal Battalion, Misrial Complex, Rawalpindi, on 5 October 2026 between 0900 hrs and 1100 hrs. The bids will be opened the same day at 1200 hrs in the presence of contractors' representatives. Taxes will be deducted as per applicable rules. Contractors should also provide sales tax, registration, and professional tax certificates along with their application.
