Tender Description

The Sindh Textbook Board (STBB), located in Karachi, invites bids for the printing, binding, and supply of textbooks for Government and SEF operated schools for the academic session 2026-2027. This procurement is aimed at supporting the educational needs of public sector schools in Sindh by providing textbooks free of cost to students from Class ECCE to Class X. The department responsible for this tender is the Sindh Textbook Board, which operates under the Government of Sindh and follows the Sindh Public Procurement (SPP) Rules, 2010 (amended). Items being procured: - Printing of textbooks - Binding of textbooks - Supply of textbooks for all subjects from Class ECCE to X The scope includes adherence to curriculum outlines designed by the Directorate of Curriculum, Assessment and Research, Jamshoro (DCAR). The textbooks must be printed and supplied according to the specifications and outbound logistics plan detailed in the bidding documents. The tender emphasizes quality and timely delivery to ensure availability at the start of the academic year. Eligibility criteria require prospective firms or consortiums/joint ventures to meet the qualifications outlined in the bidding documents. Valid evidence as per the bidding document must be provided. The STBB reserves the right to conduct site visits to verify the manufacturing capabilities and reliability of bidders. Documents lacking concrete evidence will be disqualified during preliminary evaluation. Bidding documents are available from 28th July 2026 and can be downloaded from the EPADS website. The tender fee is Rs. 5,000 (non-refundable). Bids must be submitted online on EPADS by 10:00 AM on 3rd September 2026. Bid opening will occur the same day at 11:00 AM online. The submission method follows the Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure under SPP Rules. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure all required documents and bid security (5% of total bid cost) are complete and submitted on EPADS before the deadline to avoid disqualification. Early submission is recommended to handle any technical issues with the online portal.
