Procurement of ACSR RABBIT (7/.132) Bare Steel Reinforced Electrical Cable

The Hazara Electric Supply Company (HAZECO) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the procurement of ACSR RABBIT (7/.132) bare steel reinforced electrical cable as per WAPDA/NTDC Specification No.P-50:88 (Amended to Date). This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be executed in Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The items being procured include: - ACSR RABBIT (7/.132) bare steel reinforced electrical cable, quantity 623.39 Km The cables must conform to the technical specifications and standards set by NTDC and WAPDA. Inspection of the material will be conducted at the supplier's premises by the Chief Engineer (MI) PPMC Lahore jointly with CEO HAZECO Abbottabad or authorized representatives. The supplier must provide all reasonable facilities for inspection and deposit 0.5% of the material cost as a non-reimbursable inspection fee. Rejected materials must be replaced at the supplier's expense without extension of delivery period. Eligible bidders must be registered with FBR (NTN), have prior experience with DISCOs or WAPDA formations for similar or higher rated materials, and must not be blacklisted or debarred by any government or related organization. Joint ventures are allowed with up to two members. Bids must be submitted online through EPADS v2.0 by Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 10:30 AM, with bid opening at 11:00 AM the same day. Manual submissions will not be entertained. Bid security in the form of Call at Deposit or Bank Guarantee is required and must be submitted physically before the bid submission deadline. The procurement will follow the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) method.
