Tender Description
The State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan invites sealed technical and financial bids through EPADS version 2 for the procurement of computers for its Health & Accident Insurance (H&AI) Zonal Office located in Saidu Sharif, Swat. This procurement aims to equip the zonal office with modern computing equipment to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
Items being procured:
- 3 Desktop All-in-One Dell/HP or equivalent with 1 TB storage, 32 GB DDR4 RAM (expandable to 64 GB), Core i3 processor at 1.2 GHz, 7 USB ports, 1 HDMI port, 27 inch LED display with 1920x1080 resolution
- 4 Laptops Dell/HP or equivalent with 13th Generation Intel Core i3 processor, 2.5 GHz speed with Turbo Boost up to 4.4 GHz, 8 GB DDR4 RAM (expandable to 16 GB), 1 TB SSD, 15.6 inch FHD display, integrated Intel UHD graphics, multiple USB ports including Type C, standard keyboard, mouse, webcam, Genuine Windows 11 Professional 64-bit, MS Office licensed software, antivirus licensed, long battery life of at least 5 hours, local warranty
The technical scope includes supply, installation, and warranty services for the above computer equipment. The successful bidder will be responsible for delivering brand new items as per specifications, providing samples for approval, and ensuring installation at the site. Maintenance and after-sales services including inspection, cleaning, and repair during the warranty period are mandatory.
Eligibility criteria require vendors to be registered with GST and Income Tax departments, provide verifiable documentary proof including sales tax and income tax certificates, experience certificates for similar work, affidavit of non-blacklisting, and active taxpayer status. A bid security of 5% of the total tender amount in the form of a pay order or bank draft is mandatory. Technical bids will be evaluated on registration, tax compliance, experience, client base, and technical staff qualifications with a minimum score of 70 points required.
Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS only; physical bids will not be accepted. The bid security must reach the office before the closing date. The bid validity period is 90 days from the date of financial bid opening. Delivery of items is expected within 15 days of supply order issuance, with penalties for delays.
The tender offers a valuable opportunity for qualified suppliers to engage with a leading insurance corporation. Bidders should ensure compliance with all terms and conditions and submit complete and signed proposals on time. A practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare and submit the technical proposal separately and ensure all documentary proofs are attached to avoid disqualification.
The submission deadline is **within 7 days from the publish date**, and bids should be addressed to the Incharge Zonal Procurement Committee, State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan, H&AI Swat Zone, House No.5, ZTB Road, College Colony, Saidu Sharif, Swat.
