Tender Description
Heavy Industries Taxila, located in Taxila Cantt, Punjab, invites bids for the procurement of a Customized Based Shower Testing System. This procurement is managed by the Supply Chain Management Directorate and is open to reputed firms possessing NTN certificates. The tender number is 5061/IT-6301/STS/2026-27/FOR-A/APC/SCM with a bid submission deadline of 18 August 2026 at 10:30 hours and bid opening at 11:00 hours the same day.
Items being procured:
- Customized Based Shower Testing System with internal dimensions (L=10m, W=4.5m, H=4.8m)
- External dimensions (L=12m, W=6m, H=6m)
- Recycle Tank Capacity 1000 Liters
- Full cone nozzles
- Multi-stage filtration up to 20 micron
- PLC Controlled System
- Pump with flow 10 to 15 m3/hr, pressure 3 to 4 bar, motor 5.5 to 7.5 Kw, SS304 wetted parts with VFD control
- Water Tank of 10,000 liters made of heavy duty industrial plastic
- Shower booth accommodating vehicles from Hilux (5.3m) to Toyota Coaster bus (7.7m)
- Nozzle configuration: 12 to 14 nozzles each on left, right and top sides with spacing 0.5 to 0.7 m and spray angle 90 to 120 degrees
- Manual zone activation to minimize water wastage
- Floor: 6 to 8 inches RCC with 1.5 to 2% slope and central trench drainage with grid grating
- Structure frame strong to withstand weather and storm wind effects
The technical scope includes installation, commissioning, and training for 3 days. The system is PLC controlled with manual zone activation, pump control, water level, flow and pressure monitoring, and HMI operation. The filtration system filters water up to 20 microns with 85% water reuse efficiency and continuous operation capacity of 5 to 6 hours. Civil works include RCC floor, drainage, sludge pit, and roofing with CGI sheets or equivalent.
Eligibility criteria require firms to be registered with HIT or provide valid agency agreements, NTN certificates, and audit reports for the last 3 financial years. Firms must submit a postal order of Rs 2000/- with the technical bid and provide bid security as per instructions. PEC category is not specified but firms must comply with DPP&I-35 regulations and be free from blacklisting or legal issues.
