Tender Description
The Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) Jamshoro, Sindh, is inviting bids for the procurement of advanced equipment for the Construction Digitalization Laboratory (CDL) of the Civil Engineering Department under the Laboratory Strengthening Program of Sindh Higher Education Commission (HEC), Government of Sindh. This procurement is critical for enhancing the research and educational capabilities of the department in Jamshoro.
Items being procured:
- High End Computer with Intel Core Ultra 9 285K or equivalent processor, 64 GB DDR5 memory, RTX 4080 Super graphics, 32-inch monitor
- VR Headset with standalone and PC-connected VR capability, resolution ≥ 2064 × 2208 per eye
- LiDAR Enabled Tablet with built-in LiDAR scanner, minimum 12-inch display, 256 GB storage
- IoT Structural Health Monitoring Kit including temperature sensors, Arduino Uno R4 WiFi microcontroller, strain gauge, triaxial accelerometer, environmental monitoring sensors
- Interactive Touch Display 85-inch multi-point touch, Android OS, wireless screen sharing
- Installation, accessories, cables, mounts, and training for the offered equipment
The technical scope includes supply, installation, putting into operation, and demonstration of the working of the equipment at MUET Jamshoro. The equipment must conform to international standards and be suitable for local climatic conditions. The successful bidder will be responsible for providing all technical personnel and ensuring full operational capability.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to have at least five years of experience in supplying similar goods to universities or large organizations, valid registration with FBR and Sindh Revenue Board as active taxpayers, and no blacklisting from any procuring agency. PEC registration is required as applicable. Annual turnover certificates for the last five years must meet specified minimums.
The tender fee is Rs. 5000 and earnest money is 5% of the estimated cost. Bids must be submitted electronically via the Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority's EPADS portal by 11:30 AM on 11-08-2026. Manual bids will not be accepted. The bid opening will take place at 12:00 Noon on the same day at the office of the Deputy Director (Procurement), MUET Jamshoro.
