Tender Description
The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) at Tarbela 4th Extension Hydel Power Station invites eligible bidders to participate in the procurement of IT/OT Security Equipment specifically for the DCS Section. This procurement includes the supply, installation, commissioning, testing, and training related to the security equipment, ensuring enhanced operational security and system integrity at the power station located in Tarbela, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The contract period is set for 120 days, and the procurement will be conducted on a Delivered Duty Paid (D.D.P.) basis. Bidders must be registered on the EPADS v2.0 platform and submit their electronic bids through this portal. Manual bids will not be accepted. The bidding process follows the Single Stage-One Envelope procedure using the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with Public Procurement Rules, 2004.
Eligibility criteria include furnishing a Bid Security of PKR 60,000 in the form of CDR or bank draft in favor of Chief Engineer (O&M) 4th Extension HPS Tarbela, WAPDA. Insurance guarantees are not acceptable. Hard copies of the bid security must reach the office before the bid closing time. Bidders should ensure compliance with all terms and conditions detailed in the bidding documents available on the EPADS portal.
The deadline for bid submission is 29th September 2026 at 1100 hrs, with bid opening scheduled for the same day at 1130 hrs. Interested bidders are advised to register early on EPADS and review the tutorial available on YouTube to facilitate the registration process.
