Procurement of Tow Truck 20-33 KN (In Lieu of Fork Lifter)

Heavy Industries Taxila, Supply Chain Management Directorate, invites sealed bids from reputed firms possessing NTN Certificates for the procurement of a Tow Truck with a capacity of 20-33 KN, to be used in lieu of a Fork Lifter. This procurement is on FOR basis and the delivery is required within 3 months after signing the contract. The tender is specific to Taxila city in Punjab province. Items being procured: - Tow Truck 20-33 KN (Nos 01) The technical scope includes a diesel or battery-powered towing tractor with manual or automatic transmission, towing capacity between 2000 to 3300 Kg, total weight 1000 to 4500 Kg, solid rubber or super elastic tyres, and other detailed specifications such as turning radius, overall dimensions, braking systems, engine brands (Toyota, Mitsubishi, Cummins, Perkins, Komatsu, Hyundai), noise level below 70 dB, and travel speed between 10 to 27 Km/h. The truck must comply with safety standards and include after-sale services for one year including free repair and maintenance. ROPS canopy is mandatory. Eligibility criteria require firms to be registered with HIT, possess NTN certificates, and not be blacklisted or defaulter. Firms must submit a postal order of Rs 2000/- with the technical bid, along with other required documents such as registration letters, audit reports, CNIC copies, and trade links with OEMs. Bid security in the form of CDR, BD, or PO is mandatory. The bid validity period is 180 days extendable by 90 days. The submission deadline is **21 August 2026 at 10:30 hours** at Gate No. 5, Heavy Industries Taxila, with bid opening at 11:00 hours the same day. Bids must be submitted in two separate envelopes for technical and financial proposals, sealed and marked accordingly. Late submissions will not be entertained.
