Rehabilitation and Construction of Roads in District Jhelum

District Council Jhelum invites sealed bids through Punjab E-procurement portal from contractors registered on Punjab E-PADS for the year 2026-27, MRS 2nd BI Annual 2026, from 1st July 2026 to 30th December 2026. Items being procured: - Rehabilitation of Road from Nathwala to Gurrah Jattan, Tehsil & District Jhelum (Estimated Cost Rs. 77.00 Million, Bid Security Rs. 1,540,000) - Rehabilitation of PCC Road from Chak Mujahid to Karseempur via Mirzapur, Tehsil PD Khan District Jhelum (Estimated Cost Rs. 37.60 Million, Bid Security Rs. 1,152,000) - Construction of PCC Road from Village Bathiyan to Chak Lodhi UC Sohan Tehsil Dina District Jhelum (Estimated Cost Rs. 69.00 Million, Bid Security Rs. 1,380,000) The bidding will be conducted under the Single Stage Single Envelope procedure of the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of the required amount through Punjab E-PADS. The bids will be opened at 02:30 PM on the closing date in the presence of bidders or their representatives at the office of the District Council Jhelum. The works involve rehabilitation and construction of roads in various tehsils of District Jhelum. The bidders must comply with Punjab Local Government (Works) Rules 2017. The lowest bidder shall deposit additional performance security from 5% to 10% within 15 days of issuance of notice. The additional performance security will be refunded after issuance of completion certificate by the Engineering Branch. Eligibility requires registration with Punjab E-PADS, valid PEC category as per the nature of works, and FBR/ATL registration. Earnest money in the form of bid security is mandatory. Bids must be submitted online through Punjab E-procurement portal by or before 10:00 AM on 09-09-2026. Late bids will not be accepted. Non-responsive, non-readable, non-signed, or non-stamped bids will be rejected.
