Tender Description
The Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) invites bids from reputable and experienced firms or workshops registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) possessing valid NTN and active Sales Tax Registration (Active Taxpayer Status) for the repair and maintenance of RCB vehicles. This procurement is managed by the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board, located in Rawalpindi, Punjab.
Items being procured:
- Repair and Maintenance of Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) Vehicles
The scope includes all repair and maintenance works, including the supply and installation of genuine spare parts in accordance with the approved Work Order and manufacturer’s specifications. All repair works must be completed to the full satisfaction of the Workshop Incharge at the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board. Any defective, incomplete, or non-conforming repair work must be rectified or re-executed at the contractor’s own cost without additional financial liability to the Procuring Agency. The repaired vehicles will only be accepted after inspection, testing, and certification by the Workshop Incharge.
Eligibility criteria require firms to be registered with FBR, possess valid NTN and active Sales Tax Registration, and have relevant experience in vehicle repair and maintenance. Blacklisted or debarred firms by any government or semi-government organization are not eligible. Bidders must submit 2% Earnest Money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) issued by a scheduled bank in favor of the Cantonment Executive Officer, Rawalpindi Cantonment Board.
Bidding documents are available only on PPRA and EPADS V2.0 portals, and bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS V2.0 by 03 August 2026 at 1:00 PM. Bids will be opened the same day at 1:30 PM. Manual submissions are not accepted. Before bidding, all interested bidders must visit the RCB Workshop during office hours to inspect vehicles and assess repair requirements. This inspection is crucial as no claims for additional payment or rate revision will be entertained after bid submission.
A practical tip for bidders is to thoroughly inspect the vehicles at the RCB Workshop before submitting bids to ensure accurate understanding of the repair scope and avoid disputes later. This will help in preparing a competitive and realistic bid.
The contract award is subject to approval by the Competent Authority. Detailed terms and conditions can be reviewed at the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board office during working hours.
