Tender Description
The Virtual University of Pakistan is procuring replacement and installation services for two 150 TR cooling towers at its M.A. Jinnah Office located in Lahore. This procurement includes dismantling existing cooling towers, constructing new bases, replacing inlet and outlet pipes with valves and fittings, and installing new cooling towers with full automation integrated with a 180 TR screw chiller. The cooling towers are specified as rectangular, cross flow, induced draft, belt-driven units with corrosion-protected materials including SS 304 metal parts and FRP casing. The scope also covers electrical panels, chemical dosing pumps, and all associated accessories. The work must be completed within 20 days after delivery, which itself is expected within 30 days of the purchase order. Bidders must be registered with FBR on the Active Taxpayer List and provide valid NTN and GST certificates. Earnest Money of Rs. 150,000 and a non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 1,000 must be submitted as per instructions. The technical bid and financial bid must be submitted separately in sealed envelopes by 2:00 pm on June 10, 2026, at the Procurement Department, Directorate of Finance, Virtual University of Pakistan, Islamabad. Technical proposals will be opened at 2:30 pm the same day. Bidders are advised to carefully follow the submission guidelines including attaching all required documents such as company profile, technical data sheets, warranty terms, and proof of similar completed projects.
