Tender Description
The Punjab Highway Department invites tenders from engineering firms and contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category for the special repair of the road from Masjid to House Awais Kyani and Main Street Moreen Union Council Narnar, Tehsil Kahuta, District Rawalpindi. The procurement process will be conducted through the Punjab PPRA E-Tendering System, ensuring transparency and efficiency.

The project completion period is 3 months. The estimated cost for the work is Rs. 17,359,768 with an additional estimated cost of Rs. 347,175. Bidders must submit their bids digitally via the Punjab E-Procurement System by 22-10-2026 at 11:00 AM. Physical bid securities such as CDR, Pay Order, Bank Draft, or Cashier Cheque will not be accepted. Instead, bid security must be submitted online equal to 2% of the estimated cost. Performance Guarantee of 5% of the contract amount is mandatory within 15 days of receiving the letter of acceptance.
Eligibility criteria include registration on the Punjab PPRA website and PEC registration in the relevant category. No joint ventures are allowed, and all claims must be submitted electronically. Manual submissions or submissions via courier/email will be rejected. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids prior to acceptance without assigning any reason.
