Tender Description
SBP Banking Services Corporation invites bids for the Supply, Installation, Integration, Maintenance and Technical Support of UPS Systems for its Disaster Recovery Data Centre located in Hyderabad, Sindh. The project involves supply and installation of modular UPS systems with a minimum capacity of 60KW (N+1) scalable to 120KW, including input and output circuit breakers, power cables, battery circuit breakers, and integration with existing battery cabinets containing VRLA batteries. The scope also includes dismantling and shifting of existing UPS systems, successful testing and commissioning on dummy load, integration with existing electrical systems and centralized monitoring systems, and onsite operations training for SBP staff. The contract includes a one-year OEM-backed warranty followed by four years of SLA maintenance and technical support with guaranteed response and recovery times based on incident severity. Bidders must be OEM manufacturers or authorized partners with proven experience in similar UPS system installations, have a support office in Karachi, and meet financial and tax registration requirements. The bid submission deadline is 17 June 2026 at 11:00 AM via EPADS, with bid security of PKR 600,000 required. The technical and financial proposals will be evaluated separately, and the contract will be awarded to the most advantageous compliant bidder. Bidders are advised to carefully review the detailed technical specifications and SLA requirements, conduct site surveys, and ensure compliance with all eligibility and qualification criteria. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely submission of original bid security documents to avoid disqualification and to prepare for phased UPS replacement activities during weekends to maintain uninterrupted power supply to critical data center systems. The procurement is governed by the Public Procurement Rules 2004 and all bids must be submitted electronically through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS).
