Tender Description
The Pakistan Real Estate Investment & Management Company (Pvt) Ltd (PRIMACO) on behalf of Employees Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) Government of Pakistan invites bids for the supply of genuine spare parts for the VRF system installed at EOBI Building, 66-M.A. Johar Town, Lahore. This procurement is specific to HVAC & Refrigeration equipment and requires the supply of indoor and outdoor unit components including compressors, PCBs, electronic expansion valves, sensors, fan motors, communication modules, contactors, relays, capacitors, filters, strainers, electrical components, and refrigerant-related accessories.
The technical scope demands brand new, unused, and genuine parts fully compatible with the existing VRF system. The supplier must verify make, model, and technical specifications prior to supply, with any mismatch being the sole responsibility of the supplier. Quality assurance is paramount, with no refurbished or duplicate items accepted. The contract includes delivery, inspection, acceptance, and warranty obligations. Delivery is to be made at the EOBI Building Lahore within 180 calendar days from the contract commencement date.
Eligibility criteria include valid registration with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-6 or above with specialized codes ME-01 & ME-06, active registration with Income and Sales Tax Departments with ATL status, a proper business setup with telephone facility, and at least five years of experience in similar contracts. Bidders must provide an affidavit of non-blacklisting and a declaration that all goods offered are brand new and not refurbished.
Key dates include the publication date of 22nd April 2026 and the bid submission deadline on 12th May 2026 at 1400 hours. Bids must be submitted electronically via PPRA EPADS Version 2.00. The bid opening will be held on the same day at 1430 hours. The submission address for clarifications and correspondence is the HOD (P&C) PRIMACO office, 2nd Floor, EOBI House, Islamabad.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure strict compliance with the technical specifications and submission requirements, including the timely submission of bid security of Rs. 500,000 in the prescribed form. Late or incomplete bids will be rejected. Also, bidders should carefully verify the compatibility of spare parts with the existing VRF system to avoid disqualification or replacement costs. This tender follows the Single Stage One Envelope procedure with Least Cost Based Selection, emphasizing the importance of competitive pricing and full compliance.
