Up-gradation of Thirty Unmanned Level Crossings on Shahdra Bagh - Sangla Hill and Faisalabad - Shorkot Sections

Pakistan Railways Headquarters Office Lahore invites experienced firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and appearing on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to bid for the up-gradation of thirty (30) unmanned level crossings into manned level crossings on Shahdra Bagh - Sangla Hill and Faisalabad - Shorkot sections within Lahore Division. Items being procured: - Up-gradation of thirty (30) unmanned level crossings into manned level crossings on Shahdra Bagh - Sangla Hill and Faisalabad - Shorkot sections (Lahore Division). The scope involves upgrading the safety and operational standards of these level crossings to ensure better control and reduce accidents. The project duration is nine (09) months. Firms must be registered with PEC in categories CE-01 or above having specialization in CE-10, EE-07, EE-08. The estimated cost is bold PKR 539.00 Million. Bidders must be on the FBR Active Taxpayers List and submit bid security of PKR 10,779,180/-. Both technical and financial bids must be submitted through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS version 2.0) portal (www.epads.gov.pk). The original bid security in the form of a Bank Guarantee/CDR in favor of FA & CAO/PR, Pakistan Railways Headquarters Office Lahore must be submitted physically before tender opening. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 29-09-2026 at 11:00 AM in Committee Room No.2 at the Headquarters Office Lahore. Bids will be opened on 12-10-2026 at 11:00 AM. Firms are advised to carefully follow the EPADS submission guidelines and ensure all documents, including the technical bid and bid security photocopy, are properly submitted. Pakistan Railways reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per PPRA Rule 33(1).
