Procurement of Various Services for Student Farewell Event

Dawood University of Engineering and Technology (DUET) Karachi is procuring various services for organizing a Student Farewell event for approximately 1200 persons. The procurement includes complete food and catering arrangements, decoration setup with venue, full event videography and photography including live photos, and band performance with sound system. The event is tentatively scheduled for 22nd June 2026 at a venue such as Golf Club or PAF Museum in Karachi. The technical scope covers comprehensive event management services including crockery and cutlery setup, waiter services including VIP waiters, stage setup, sound system, fresh flower arrangements, buffet setups, tables and chairs of good quality, lighting arrangements, pana flex printing and installation, media wall, and printing of invitation cards. The supplier must provide venue options of equivalent category ensuring a secure environment and reputed valet parking services. Eligible bidders must be Income Tax, GST, NTN, and SRB registered firms with at least five years of relevant experience organizing similar events for public or private sector entities. They must have an office in Karachi and demonstrate financial capability with an annual turnover of at least twice the estimated cost (minimum PKR 11 million). Submission requires earnest money (Bid Security) of PKR 275,000 and a non-refundable tender fee of PKR 3,000 in the form of pay orders in favor of DUET Karachi. Bids must be submitted online through the SPPRA EPADS portal by 19th May 2026 at 3:00 pm. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all required documents including technical staff lists, experience certificates, tax registrations, and non-blacklist affidavits are complete and signed/stamped as incomplete bids will be rejected. Early registration on the EPADS portal is advised to avoid last-minute submission issues.
