Tender Description
Water and Sanitation Services Company (WSSC) Kohat invites sealed tenders for the annual maintenance and repair of tube wells' internal electrical and machinery components without transformers, external electrification, and voltage regulators within its jurisdiction for the fiscal year 2026-27. This procurement is specifically for firms or companies registered with PEC under categories ME-05, ME-06, ME-07, and EE-11. Bidders must also be registered with relevant taxation authorities including Income Tax, Sales Tax Department, and KPRA.
Items being procured:
- Annual maintenance and repair of tube wells' internal electrical and machinery without transformers
- External electrification
- Voltage regulators
The scope includes maintenance and repair works on tube wells managed by WSSC Kohat, ensuring all equipment is kept in working condition. The successful contractor will receive all tube wells in operational status from WSSC Kohat. The procurement follows the Single Stage Two Envelope bidding method as per Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (KPPRA) Rules 2014 and will be conducted through the KP EPADS e-procurement system.
A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 17 September 2026 at 11:30 AM at the WSSC Kohat office. Bidders are required to upload their queries on EPADS prior to this meeting. Bids must include a 2% bid security in favor of WSSC Kohat, and an affidavit confirming the bid security is placed in the financial bid. Technical and financial bids must be submitted separately, clearly marked, and uploaded on EPADS. Additionally, a sealed hard copy of the BOQ and all required documents must be delivered to the WSSC Kohat office by 29 September 2026 at 11:00 AM. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of the Procurement Committee and bidders or their representatives.
Bidders failing to upload bids on EPADS and submitting only sealed bids will be considered non-responsive. All applicable federal and provincial taxes, including Income Tax, Sales Tax, and KPRA duties, will be recovered as per government directives. WSSC Kohat reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids according to KPPRA rules.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure timely registration and active status on the KP EPADS portal and carefully prepare both technical and financial bids to avoid disqualification. Early submission of queries before the pre-bid meeting can clarify requirements and improve bid quality.
